![]() ![]() TG3 you start with one path unlocked and access to one of the businesses but can later go into the others if you so choose at the cost of reputation and money. If you wanted to also run a farm then you needed a patron who could do it, which you would have to either marry or raise a child to be that patron. TG2 if you wanted a church, you had to be a scholar and could only make scholar buildings like a graveyard or hospital. ![]() You're also able to jump into other professions in the guild 3 by getting rep and money instead of having someone utterly dedicated to one specialization like in the second game. The guild 2 was a lot of fun but it's older and it shows with the easy ways of churning out a lot of money early on (craftsmen), the guild 3 is a slower start in my opinion but that isn't always a bad thing since you want to build your dynasty and that takes quite a bit of time. The dev now has done quite a lot to improve on what was already there but it isn't perfect yet, however some of my friends are already gearing up to play some multiplayer in this. This entry into The guild series had a rough time, the first dev group churned out a lot of stuff but didn't do much for the quality of the game and it had a bad impact on the game and the reviews.
